लोकतंत्र में विरोध प्रदर्शन: अधिकार, जिम्मेदारी और बदलता स्वरूप भारत एक लोकतांत्रिक देश है। हमारे संविधान ने नागरिकों को अपनी बात रखने, विचार व्यक्त करने और सरकार की नीतियों के प्रति असहमति जताने का अधिकार दिया है। लोकतंत्र की खूबसूरती भी इसी में है कि नागरिक सरकार की गलत नीतियों, भ्रष्टाचार, सत्ता के दुरुपयोग या जनहित से जुड़े किसी भी मुद्दे पर सवाल उठा सकते हैं। लेकिन अधिकारों के साथ जिम्मेदारियाँ भी जुड़ी होती हैं। हमें अपनी बात रखने की स्वतंत्रता है, लेकिन यह स्वतंत्रता ऐसी नहीं होनी चाहिए जिससे किसी व्यक्ति या समुदाय की भावनाओं को अनावश्यक रूप से ठेस पहुँचे, हिंसा को बढ़ावा मिले या सार्वजनिक संपत्ति को नुकसान हो। सरकार की गलत नीतियों के खिलाफ आवाज उठाना लोकतंत्र को मजबूत करता है, लेकिन उस आवाज का तरीका भी उतना ही महत्वपूर्ण है। पिछले कुछ वर्षों में विरोध प्रदर्शन के तरीकों में जिस तरह के बदलाव देखने को मिले हैं, वे निश्चित रूप से विचार करने का विषय हैं। कई बार वास्तविक मुद्दा पीछे छूट जाता है और उसके स्थान पर राजनीतिक हित, व्यक्तिगत स्वार्थ, आरोप-प्रत्यारोप और भीड़ की राजनीति प्रम...
